Audi Mendham understands that returning a vehicle that you have learned to rely on can be a stressful process.  At Mendham, we pride ourselves on making the lease return process as swift and pleasant as possible. Provided below are answers to popular questions asked during the lease return process.

With your lease ending soon, Audi Mendham is available to assist you through every aspect of the lease-end process. Sal Tsegai, our Lease Maturity Manager, can provide you with straightforward information to help you make a lease end decision that meets your needs.

Q: Do I have to return my Audi to the dealer that I originally leased from?
A: No, you can return your lease to Audi Mendham no matter where in the country the lease originated from.

Q: How do I know what to expect at the end of my lease?
A: By scheduling an appointment with our Lease Maturity Manager you will be informed of your lease end options.

Q: Should I have a pre-inspection completed prior to my lease maturing?
A: Yes, a pre-inspection will provide you with an itemized list of excess wear and use charges. This information will help you determine whether repairs are necessary and whether or not you wish to complete them before the end of the lease. We can assist you in scheduling this service.

Q: How much will it cost me if I am over my original contracted miles?
A: Typically, it is 25 cents per excess mile on most Audi vehicles; however you can refer to your original contract for exact excess mileage costs. If entering a new Audi lease, we may be able to assist.

Q: What do I need to bring when I return my Audi?
A: Both sets of keys, books (navigation disk and cargo cover if Audi came equipped)

Q: What will I be charged for?
A: An itemized list will be provided to you during your pre-inspection or final inspection. To arrange a complimentary pre-inspection, please call us.

Q: Is it possible to get a new Audi and terminate my current lease early?
A: Yes, often times there are programs available from either Audi Financial or Audi Mendham.  A Lease Maturity Manager can provide you with the program details

Q: Can I certify my current Audi and purchase it?
A: Yes, if your Audi qualifies for the Audi Certified Pre-Owned process then our Lease Maturity  Manager can certify your Audi and process the paperwork to purchase it. You may also qualify for special finance rates through Audi Financial Services.

Q: Are there benefits to returning my current Audi and leasing a new Audi?
A: Yes, there are owner loyalty programs available from either or both Audi and Audi Mendham. A Lease Maturity Manager can provide you with these programs.
